LIVE LINE WORKS

Live Line Working Crews developing Bare Hand, Hotsticks and Rubber Gloves Methods

LIVE LINE WORKING METHODS

   Bare Hand Method
   Hotsticks Method
Rubber Gloving (limited to 45 kV)

High Line Division, since its origins as a technical department of a British company dedicated to providing maintenance services to oilfield facilities, has in its DNA the need to carry out maintenance and repair work with the installation in service, avoiding oil production cuts have generated in us the need to carry out all possible work in Hotline. This has trained us in the different procedures for live line working, some of them:

Live line insulating washing with hy pressure demineralized water
Insulation dry cleaning with pressure air (Walnut shell and/or smash corn)
Rubber Gloving method from insulating platforms up to 45 kV
Hotsticks Method with insulating Hotsticks up to 400 kV
   Bare-hand Method from insulating platforms

High Line Division S.L. with exhaustive experience performing maintenance and troubleshooting on high voltage networks along the world has developed a preventive & predictive maintenance program entirely developed in hotline with the objective to extend the lifetime of the assets, eliminating the potential sources of outages and failures while the installation remains operative. We strive to reduce maintenance cost avoiding expensive equipment replacement related costs.

Our Preventive Maintenance Program improves general operation integrity network reliability and increase performance under stressing conditions.

OUR PROGRAM EFFICIENCY IS GRANTED BY:

   History
   Consistency
   Accuracy
   Safety
   Quality

History means that High Line Division keeps records of everything done on your equipment and what happens to it. Historical records can mean the difference in identifying a problem or chasing a wild goose.

Consistency means that our senior technicians do the routine the same way at the same time. that High Line Division develop a work program of routine inspection and specification that will be followed at all times, data is gathered on inspection check list that ending the day will be uploaded on system database for further analysis.

Accuracy means that all data that High Line Division collects is repeatable and reliable. We record all ambient conditions when doing so. that High Line Division uses the most up to date equipment that has been design for the specific job to be perform, which are linked to our onsite laptop to produce report of all test and inspection that have been completed and for you the Client.

Safety is the most important consideration to High Line Division when considering the inspection of high voltage installations. We do a full risk assessment of your sites, when do a full site survey. We have our own PPE procedures which are formulated on the Arc Flash Protective Equipment Hazard Risk Category Guide. When we work on de-energized equipment we have our own Lockout/Tagout procedure in which we work with your safety department and the people doing the switching for us.

Quality is the key of our success; High Line Division is committed to operational excellence. To reach our objectives, we will have to maintain a constant focus on quality with full dedication, commitment, and teamwork.
